Angott Search Group is partnering with a major financial services institution in their search for a Vice President of Asset Management Administration. This position will oversee the Asset Management product lines and Administration Team, including supervision of staff members with a range of skills and responsibilities in operations and related technologies, administration, and product development.
What You’ll Do:
- Organize and oversee the Asset Management Administrative Team with the responsibility to produce outstanding internal and external customer experiences and service.
- Foster a culture supportive of our distribution system and continually enhance Asset Management platform usability for clients and for sales and support teams.
- Partner with staff across the organization to provide continuous improvement of Asset Management product offerings, technology, and service.
- Establish an environment that encourages innovation and creativity to enhance client services.
- Oversee policies, procedures, systems, and fiscal management.
- Responsibility for budget activities related to the trust company and foundation.
- Partner with the Compliance Officer and auditors to ensure compliance with policies, applicable laws, and regulations.
- Collaborate with the lead Asset Management investment officer and other members of investment team to provide continuous improvement of Asset Management investment offerings and to oversee implementation of investment strategies in client portfolios.
- Provide leadership of risk management for Asset Management lines of business.
- Partner with Accounting to produce financial reporting for applicable entity boards with the trust and foundation.
- Professionally represent the organization in internal and external settings, specifically including sales and support staff, as well as individual and organizational clients.
What You’ll Bring:
- Six to ten years of experience in financial or investment services or a professional role such as an investment advisor, attorney, CPA, or similar field.
- A relevant business degree is required, with an advanced degree or certification such as an MBA, CPA, or other related designation preferred.
- Advanced certifications and/or licenses in the financial services industry are strongly preferred.
- Success in building high-performing teams.
- Success supervising professional staff and creating an atmosphere of cooperation, support, and high productivity
- Successful involvement in closing client business or supervising others who are closing business, showing the ability to grow business while keeping compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
- Developing and supporting productive relationships with internal and external colleagues and partners.
