This is a high-impact, strategic recruiting leadership role responsible for overseeing the firm’s lateral member and senior counsel recruiting, integration, and retention efforts across all office locations. Working closely with firm leadership, this individual will help drive strategic growth initiatives by attracting exceptional senior-level legal talent.
What You’ll Do
- Manage lateral recruiting efforts across offices and practice groups.
- Build and maintain active candidate pipelines aligned with strategic hiring priorities.
- Source candidates through direct outreach, referrals, and external recruiting partners.
- Manage recruiter relationships and recruiting workflows.
- Serve as a primary point of contact throughout the candidate experience.
- Coordinate interview processes from outreach through offer stage.
- Partner with leadership to assess candidate materials, business plans, and related documentation.
- Ensure timely communication and an exceptional candidate experience.
- Work closely with firm leadership and practice group management to support hiring initiatives.
- Provide updates on candidate pipelines, market activity, and recruiting trends.
- Prepare candidate summaries and supporting materials for leadership review.
- Monitor lateral market activity and competitor hiring trends.
- Support targeted recruiting strategies by practice area and geography.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen recruiting pipelines and outreach efforts.
- Enhance recruiting processes, communication, and reporting workflows.
- Maintain accurate recruiting data and tracking systems.
- Support scalable and consistent recruiting best practices.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of legal recruiting experience.
- 2 years of experience recruiting senior-level legal talent.
- Strong understanding of law firm structures and partner-level recruiting dynamics.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder hiring processes.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, discretion, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch professional environment.
