Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs in a friendly, professional manner
- Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions accurately, and manage the cash drawer with integrity
- Conduct retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including upselling products and promoting specials
- Stock shelves, maintain clean displays, and ensure products are well-merchandised to attract customers
- Provide product demos when applicable and share retail store product knowledge to enhance customer experience
- Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and conducting regular stock checks
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering customer inquiries over the phone
Requirements
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially with POS systems and cash register operations
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service in a bilingual environment is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing the cash drawer at shift end
- Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of retail store merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques is beneficial
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor when interacting with customers over the phone or in person
