About The Role
The Coordinator, Materials provides end‑to‑end administrative and transactional support to the Nevada‑based Capital Procurement team. The position reports to the Project Procurement Superintendent and plays a key role in ensuring procurement activities are accurate, timely, and aligned with project and supply chain requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Contract Support
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Capital Procurement team.
- Manage routine purchases and service contracts end‑to‑end, including sole‑source and competitive (“three bids and a buy”) processes.
- Prepare and issue work packages under the direction of the Supply Chain leadership team.
- Support drafting, administration, and tracking of procurement documentation and contracts.
- Create and manage SAP requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts, including those placed by EPCM partners on behalf of AGA.
- Process goods receipts in SAP for owner‑direct purchases.
- Support expediting of Owner‑supplied equipment and materials.
- Ensure procurement data accuracy and compliance with internal controls and procedures.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings for the Supply Chain and Project Procurement teams.
- Support KPI tracking and reporting for the procurement function.
- Assist project stakeholders with timely and accurate reports, presentations, and procurement data.
- Provide general procurement support to Nevada Projects and AGA Greenfields exploration activities.
- Support identification and development of local suppliers in alignment with project and community objectives.
- Work effectively within a matrix organization, supporting both project delivery and supply chain objectives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with project managers, engineers, finance, legal, and global supply chain teams.
- Demonstrate a proactive, service‑oriented, and results‑focused approach.
- Promote and demonstrate a strong safety culture aligned with AGA values and procedures.
- Support project teams in reinforcing expected behaviors, performance standards, and team culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred, with applicable work experience.
- Strong experience using SAP, particularly the MM module (required).
- Experience supporting procurement, supply chain, or project teams in a capital or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and influence at various levels of the organization.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
