Marine/Boat Sales Person

Angler’s Choice Marine is seeking to hire an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Lexington, NC!

We are looking for a competitive, energetic and dedicated person who can work independently or with a team, and has a strong work ethic. Whether you have many years of experience or only some, as a candidate you must have boating knowledge and sales experience. However, we will work with you for the first month to help you learn our processes.

Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Acquire full knowledge of our product line, features and accessories available for purchase
• Contact and communicate with customers to identify needs using the Angler’s Choice selling process
• Answer inbound sales calls and respond to Internet inquiries
• Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used boats.
• Completing quotes, explaining finance, payment options, insurance and warranty.
• Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase
• Help ensure the showroom and sales lot are clean and inviting
• Work directly with parts, service and sales in all locations to create a harmonious and productive working relationship between all departments

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Marine, automotive or recreation industry experience
• Knowledge and experience with sales of boat brands offered by Angler’s Choice, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them
• Proficiency with sales administration tools (CRM systems, sales/consignment contracts, closing docs, etc.)
• Customer service skills and strong verbal and written communication
• The ability to work within a successful proven process, and systems
• Must be highly motivated, well-organized, energetic, articulate, team oriented, self-confident, and flexible.
