Duties

• Safely operate transportation equipment
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs to uphold safety and operational standards
• Execute roadside safety procedures including firefighting, first aid, CPR, and emergency response protocols
• Manage rope handling, rigging, and mechanical tasks essential for vehicle safety and functionality
• Communicate effectively with crew members and clients to coordinate transportation services and ensure customer satisfaction
• Oversee transportation logistics, including loading/unloading cargo with precision and care
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and operational logs in compliance with transport regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in boat/trailer transportation operations
• Strong knowledge of vehicle/trailer handling techniques, rigging, rope handling at sea, and vehicle maintenance practices
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, firefighting, and maritime safety procedures are highly desirable
• Familiarity with US transport regulations governing cargo transporting operation and safety standards
• Mechanical knowledge related to transportation vehicle and equipment maintenance
• Ability to operate cranes/ forklift safely when required for cargo transfer operations
• Excellent communication skills for effective crew coordination and customer service delivery
• Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks such as rigging, mechanical work, and water transportation activities in various weather conditions
• CDL Drivers License
• Languages: English - Spanish
