Responsibilities

• Perform thorough exterior washing and cleaning of boats using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents
• Execute vehicle paint correction and buffing procedures to restore shine and remove surface imperfections
• Detail boat interiors, including upholstery, carpets, dashboards, and compartments, ensuring a fresh, polished appearance
• Utilize automotive buffers and polishing tools safely to achieve high-quality finishes on boat surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of the auto detailing facility and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly stored and maintained
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to boat parts or accessories to support efficient workflow
• Follow safe work practices consistently to prevent accidents or damage during detailing processes

Requirements

• Prior experience in auto or boat detailing, with knowledge of vehicle exterior washing, interior cleaning, buffing, and polishing techniques
• Ability to operate standard passenger car operation equipment safely and effectively
• Familiarity with vehicle paint correction methods and automotive buffing tools
• Strong understanding of safe work practices, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Experience with auto detailing facilities or car wash environments is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during detailed cleaning tasks
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members
• Basic driving skills with a valid driver’s license; manual transmission experience is a plus
• Custodial or janitorial experience that emphasizes attention to detail and cleanliness standards
