ANGIE'S BISTRO is seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Food Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves assisting with customer orders, supporting food and beverage service, maintaining clean and organized dining areas, and coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house team members. The ideal candidate is attentive, professional, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Assist customers with menu questions and general dining requests.
- Take, confirm, or communicate customer orders accurately as needed.
- Support food and beverage service according to restaurant procedures.
- Help organize completed orders for dine-in, pickup, or takeout service.
- Communicate customer requests and order details clearly with kitchen staff.
- Assist with routine POS transactions when assigned.
- Clear and reset tables and maintain clean dining areas.
- Keep counters, service stations, and customer-facing areas organized.
- Restock napkins, utensils, containers, and other service supplies.
- Assist kitchen and service team members during busy periods.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures.
- Support opening, closing, and routine restaurant duties as assigned.
- Report customer concerns or operational issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, café, food-service, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful.
- Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to guests.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
