Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and mission-driven Community Outreach Coordinator to join our California Sales team, with a focus on the Riverside,Orange County, San Bernadino, San Diego area. This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful relationships within the special needs community and expand awareness and access to AngelSense solutions. The ideal candidate will bring experience in the special needs community, outside sales, particularly in the healthcare or human services field, and thrive in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Outside Sales
Cultivate and maintain relationships with the California Department of Developmental Services and the Regional Centers, including key stakeholders
Engage with local community organizations, advocacy groups, schools, and healthcare providers
Represent AngelSense at events, conferences, trainings, and community meetings across the assigned regions
Deliver dynamic presentations and distribute educational and promotional materials
Gather community feedback to support continuous product and service improvements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience, ideally within the healthcare or human services field
Prior experience or a connection to the special needs community
Prior experience in community outreach, healthcare sales or business development
Knowledge of the California Regional Center system is a strong plus
Skilled public speaker with a confident, engaging presentation style
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Genuine passion for supporting individuals with special needs and their families
