Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Early Childhood Educator located in Swissvale, PA. The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, facilitating children's social and emotional development, and communicating effectively with parents and staff. The role involves working closely within a team to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care while supporting the mission of Angels' Place.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Development and expertise in working with children
- Creativity skills for planning engaging and innovative activities
- Excellent organization skills to manage classroom activities and maintain a structured learning environment
- A degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in teaching or caregiving for young children is an asset
- A passion for education and dedication to fostering positive learning experiences
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
