What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Manager/ Production Manager position at Angela's Ice Cream Mill Valley?
Angela's Ice Cream is looking for a Production Manager to lead our East Petaluma kitchen. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around a commercial kitchen, cares about consistency and quality, and wants to help shape what we make next.
What you'll do
- Run day to day operations for the ice cream production team, including scheduling and training
- Manage inventory: ordering, stock levels, waste tracking, and vendor relationships
- Develop new ice cream recipes and flavors, from concept through production testing
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards across the kitchen
- Keep production on schedule to meet demand across our stores and wholesale accounts
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as they come up
What we're looking for
- Experience managing a kitchen or food production team
- Comfort with recipe development and batch scaling
- Strong organizational skills, especially around inventory and ordering
- A team leader who can train, motivate, and hold a crew accountable
- Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
