Role Description The Product Development/Production Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Petaluma, CA, with some flexibility for work from home. This role oversees product development from initial concept through production, ensuring that design intent, quality standards, timelines, and cost targets are consistently met. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with design, sourcing, and manufacturing teams; managing sample development and approvals; monitoring production schedules; and resolving issues related to materials, specifications, or quality. The manager collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize processes, maintain clear communication, and support on-time deliveries for multiple accessory and apparel categories. This role also involves tracking project status, maintaining accurate documentation, and identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.

- Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and quality standards for headwear, bags, belts, wallets, apparel, and fashion accessories.
- Proficiency with production tracking tools, documentation, and basic data analysis to monitor schedules, costs, and performance metrics.
- Ability to collaborate in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site work in Petaluma, CA with remote tasks, and maintaining clear written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to resolving development and production issues.
- Experience working with domestic and international manufacturers and logistics partners is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Fashion, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in the industry.
