What You’ll Do
As a Cash Application Specialist, you’ll play an important role in supporting dealership accounting operations by maintaining accurate records, monitoring receivables, and ensuring timely processing of payments and transactions.
Accounts Receivable Responsibilities
- Receipt and process cash, checks, credit card payments, and bank transactions accurately
- Complete journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain and monitor AR aging schedules and follow up on past-due accounts
- Prepare and send monthly statements to customers, fleet accounts, and wholesale accounts
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer balance issues
- Apply account adjustments, write-offs, and refunds in accordance with dealership policies
- Reconcile account balances and ensure accuracy of receivable records
- Assist with month-end closing and accounting support functions as needed
Administrative & Team Support
- Work closely with accounting, sales, service, and management teams
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Assist with audits and reporting requests as needed
- Support dealership accounting operations with additional administrative tasks

Requirements:
- 1 year of automotive accounting experience required
- Knowledge of CDK required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- BA in Accounting preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy with financial information
