Venue Sales & Client Experience Coordinator

Weekend Availability Required
The Grand Marquise Ballroom is one of the Triangle’s premier wedding and event venues, and we’re continuing to grow! We’re looking for an energetic, personable, and experienced professional to join our team and help create unforgettable experiences for our clients.

This position will assist with venue sales, client communication, planning, and event execution while helping deliver the exceptional service our clients expect.
What You’ll Do
- Respond promptly to new leads and inquiries
- Assist with venue tours that inspire clients and help convert bookings
- Assist with lead follow-up until booked or closed
- Assist with contracts, booking paperwork, and client communications
- Assist with planning meetings and final walkthroughs
- Coordinate with preferred vendors and venue partners
- Assist with overseeing wedding and event day operations
- Help oversee venue-operated bar service and bartending staff during events
- Assist with room flips, event setup, and venue preparation as needed
- Build relationships with wedding planners, vendors, and referral partners
- Help achieve monthly booking and revenue goals
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in venue sales, event sales, hospitality, wedding planning, or a related customer-facing role is required
- Outstanding communication and people skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Positive attitude with a professional appearance
- Comfortable using computers, email, and scheduling software
- Able to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Passion for creating exceptional client experiences
Schedule
- Full-Time or Part-Time
- Weekend availability is required
- Some evenings and holidays may be required during peak wedding season
