Sr. Pharmacy Technician

Job Details

The Sr. Pharmacy Technician positions were created to provide growth opportunities for current Pharmacy Technicians that have displayed dedication to enhancing their skill set. These individuals will serve as the subject matter expert of their designated pharmacy team. They will work alongside the Pharmacy Managers to drive and support department efficiencies.

In this role, the expectation is to act as a leader. This includes, but is not limited to, living by example and supporting company and department goals. As well, the Sr. Pharmacy Technician will demonstrate their ability drive results and achieve a consistent standard of work from the pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert within Fulfillment, displaying the capability to do the following:
• Scheduling of technicians
• Training of new hires
• Prioritizing STAT orders through process
• Quality checklists
• Standard work checklists
• End of day reporting
• Interpreting and Monitoring of Salesforce and DOMO reports and following up (Missing Orders Report, Special Delivery Report, Production Flow )
• Ability to prepare, monitor and follow up with technician schedules
• Demonstrates superior written and verbal skills to collaborate with internal partners and resolve patient issues

Experience

• No active performance management or corrective action
• 6 months tenure with ExactCare Pharmacy with 6 months spent in current role
• Previous management/leadership experience preferred; ability to provide feedback, hold teams accountable to standards
  
  

Schedule: This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
