Anew Treatment Center, Scottsdale AZ is seeking a Clinical Director who desires a central role in the development and implementation of a new clinical program centered on creating a culture of inclusiveness, belonging, and community for clients and staff alike.
Anew Treatment Center’s owners have founded, owned and managed several long-term residential treatment centers in CA and TN, serving adults with severe, complex mental health disorders and conditions. We are bringing our unique model of care to Scottsdale, AZ and are seeking a Clinical Director who is passionate about the quality experience within client care, among clinical staff, and within business operations. Anew is a modern therapeutic community, grounded in attachment-focused milieu therapy and offers a full continuum of care to meet the long-term needs of the clients we serve.
The Clinical Director will have the unique and exclusive opportunity to train with a national leader and expert in the traditional and modern therapeutic community models of treatment. One of our founders and owners has spent the past 25 years creating and cultivating a client and staff culture that has allowed for the implementation of several successful, comprehensive therapeutic communities in the country. She is a national speaker, trainer, and consultant for other like-programs and has a long-standing reputation as an established expert in this highly specific approach to supporting the integrated and sustained recovery for individuals with complex mental illnesses.
Anew’s Clinical Director’s primary role is to organize and oversee the people and programs that make up our clinical department. You will be responsible for supervising and directing everything from employees, client health record management, and clinical operations including quality and compliance programs. The goal is to ensure the smooth running of the clinical department aiming to provide safe, effective client care. As clinical director you must possess excellent management and mentoring skills and be able to create and problem solve with commitment and care. Responsibilities
- Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth
- Assume responsibility of budgeting and resourcing
- Plan and oversee all client care and administrative operations and programs
- Recruit employees to ensure department is staffed with qualified personnel
- Assign cases and create schedules for clinical staff
- Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback
- Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development
- Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary
- Monitor compliance to licensing and legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standards
Skills
- Licensed Masters required; PhD or PsyD preferred. License must be active and in good standing.
- Proven experience as clinical director or other clinical managerial position
- Experience in clinical supervision and program management
- Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation procedures
- Excellent knowledge of standards (e.g., ISO) and regulations for the clinical field
- Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g., patient management software)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
- Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts
The Clinical Director role is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with clinical on-call requirements, and quarterly weekend requirements to support on-site clinical family program events. The starting annual salary is $96,000 and based-on experience.
