Overview:
This position will assist in managing vendor relationships, ensure accurate financial records, and support day-to-day operations.
Reports to: Director, Controller
Key Responsibilities:
Carrier invoice processing
Review and enter high volume invoices into the FMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
Review proof of delivery documents and ensure compliance with company policies
Maintain relationships with vendors
Resolve discrepancies
Respond to vendor inquiries timely
Prepare and process daily check runs and ACH payments in the EAP system
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in logistics transportation
Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a billing or financial analysis role.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve department goals.
