Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including drinks, desserts, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Manage food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for food industry trends is valued
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
