Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Strong knowledge of Mainframe Operating Systems (z/OS)
- Hands-on experience with Mainframe Storage concepts and tools (DASD, SMS, HSM, etc.)
- Experience supporting enterprise mainframe infrastructure environments
- Understanding of system performance, monitoring, and tuning
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Knowledge of TSO/ISPF utilities and dataset management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with storage management tools (DFSMS, GDPS, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of JCL and batch processing workflows
- Familiarity with mainframe security frameworks (RACF, ACF2, Top Secret)
- Exposure to mainframe modernization or hybrid cloud integration
- Experience with automation and infrastructure optimization tools
