What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal Operator position at Andy's Lawn and Snow LLC?
Duties:
- Must be able to show up and be reliable to operate for each snow event that we service.
- Must be able to operate snow plow equipment to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas efficiently
- Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order
- Willing to learn an online software app for time tracking
- Spread salt or other de-icing materials as necessary to maintain safe conditions
- Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly to changing conditions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent on each job and materials used
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate work schedules and assignments
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have experience operating snow plow equipment
- Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed
