Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support a residential beachfront property in Miami Beach, FL. This is a temporary, full-time assignment (approximately 5 weeks) supporting day-to-day building maintenance, preventative care, and resident service needs.
In this role, you will assist with routine interior and exterior maintenance, equipment checks, common area upkeep, and emergency response as needed. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on building maintenance experience who values safety, teamwork, and maintaining a high-quality residential environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior areas
Follow established maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance programs
Work safely at all times and identify and address unsafe conditions
Support a clean, functional, and resident-focused operating environment
Complete work orders and required documentation using a digital work order system
Perform physical labor, including lifting and moving materials, following safety guidelines
Inspect building mechanical systems and equipment for proper operation
Monitor and adjust building systems such as HVAC and related controls
Inspect and maintain common areas to ensure cleanliness and appearance; perform minor painting as needed
Report maintenance issues or unusual conditions to supervisory staff promptly
Maintain assigned tools and equipment in good working condition
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals, tools, or equipment
Follow all state, federal, and site safety standards and procedures
Properly utilize new equipment after receiving appropriate instruction
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
Assist with maintaining maintenance records and scheduled service logs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 2 years of general building maintenance, repair, or handyman experience preferred
Working knowledge of basic building systems and maintenance practices
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Reliable attendance and flexible schedule availability
