What are the responsibilities and job description for the Email Response Specialist position at ANDREW WOMMACK MINISTRIES INC?
Position Purpose:
The role of the Email Response Specialist is to accurately and professionally manage emails the Email Response Team receives on behalf of Andrew Wommack Ministries. This includes organizing and managing various inboxes, writing responses, fulfilling requests, and gathering information from and distributing emails to other departments. The content of the emails may include customer service needs, technical support for the ministry’s websites, general ministry questions, feedback, requests, and questions about political and social matters. Which type of emails a Specialist handles may vary from one team member to the next.
The Email Response Specialist is a self-motivated, self-directed, personable individual who is an excellent communicator and able to work both independently and as a member of a team. This person must be able to take ownership of tasks assigned and work independently within the scope of the assignments. This individual is administratively minded, pays close attention to detail, and intently follows instructions. The Specialist is also trustworthy, dependable, and capable of faithfully performing their job from home.
Essential Duties:
- Manage Andrew Wommack Ministries’ public-facing email accounts: info@awmi.net, questions@awmi.net, and customerservice@awmi.net
- Respond to emails and letters in a professional, accurate, friendly, and timely manner
- Accurately follow directions to determine which emails need to be forwarded to another department and correspond professionally with those departments
- Fulfill customer service requests such as placing orders and updating partnerships, providing technical support for the ministry’s website and digital products such as the Living Commentary
- Reply to questions about the ministry and events, feedback, personal requests for assistance, and suggestions for the ministry
- Answer doctrinal questions based on Andrew Wommack’s teachings and reply to prayer requests with compassion, authority, and confidence
- Research teachings produced by AWM, Charis, and Truth & Liberty to answer customers’ questions and suggest resources to customers
- Provide professional communication that is encouraging and tactful
- Work alongside other team members to develop and maintain email templates and instructions
- Provide accurate statistics and information for management
- Participate in team meetings with the Email Response Lead
- Work with other departments and offices to service customers on various projects
- Research problems and provide ideas and suggestions to help improve the team’s systems, processes, and efforts
- Complete and participate in leadership training and development as directed by your Lead
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Above average Windows-based computer navigation skills and typing skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word; familiar with Outlook and Excel
- Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
- Excellent written communication skills and etiquette
- Excellent customer service skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Andrew’s products and Communication Services’ policies
- Prayer ministry training
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and to work well under pressure
- Effective problem-solving skills
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must sign the Statement of Faith
- AWM Communication Services C1 skillset required; C2 or Donation Center training preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
- Completion of at least Year 1 of Charis Bible College
- Must pass all required checks
Experience:
- Ministry experience required
- One year of customer service experience required
- Leadership experience required
- Compensation is commensurate with experience
