What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Product Development position at ANDREW WOMMACK MINISTRIES INC?
Position Purpose:
The Director of Product Development provides strategic and operational leadership for the development, production, and distribution of products and creative projects that support the ministry’s mission, vision, and audience. This role oversees projects from initial concept through completion and distribution, ensuring that ideas are transformed into high-quality, purposeful, and sustainable products. The Director will lead cross-functional teams, establish and monitor project timelines and budgets, coordinate internal and external resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the ministry’s creative and quality standards. This position combines ensuring the creative vision of project management, product development, operational leadership, and ministry alignment.
Essential Duties:
- Lead the full product development lifecycle, from concept through production, launch, distribution, and post-launch evaluation under the oversight of the Executive Director.
- Develop and maintain a product development pipeline aligned with the ministry’s overall strategy and priorities.
- Collaborate with ministry leadership, creative teams, content creators, marketing, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for new products.
- Coordinate the development of physical, digital, experiential, and other ministry-related products.
- Establish processes for evaluating, prioritizing, approving, and launching new products.
- Ensure products meet established standards for quality, creativity, functionality, cost, and ministry alignment.
- Lead special creative projects including set construction, props, environments, installations, displays, stage elements, and other ministry-related creative endeavors.
- Translate creative concepts into actionable project plans, including scope, resources, timelines, budgets, materials, and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining visibility into priorities, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Provide regular project status updates to key stakeholders.
- Develop distribution strategies for new products in partnership with ministry, marketing, communications, retail, digital, or other appropriate teams.
- Ensure all products and creative projects reflect and advance the ministry’s mission, vision, values, theology, brand, and strategic priorities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign the Statement of Faith.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required. A degree in a similar field is preferred.
- A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
- Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Andrew Wommack Ministries' mission and values, with a dedication to supporting its vision.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
