The North America (NAR) Transportation Manager is a strategic role and is responsible for end-to-end transportation management for all transportation activities within the NAR region. This position manages the commercial relationship, RFP process, financial analysis, and carrier performance as well as the day-to-day execution support for domestic transportation. The person in this role must have solid hands-on experience with LTL, TL, and Small Parcel, and managing their rate structure KPIs. Working knowledge with Air and Ocean is a plus. Preference for this role is hybrid out of Richardson, TX. However, we are open to remote for the right candidate. Occasional domestic and international travel is expected up to 10-15%.

You Will Make An Impact By
- Actively managing TL/ LTL/ Small Parcel portfolio and carrier relationship, as the P&L owner by providing strategic direction.
- Coordinating/handling queries, escalations, and issues related to specific shipments as received from internal customers (local logistics teams, planning, customer service, sales).
- Leading RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes and requirements with bid process execution and negotiation of transportation pricing, service, and quality.
- Processing spot quote requests and approvals from internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining and communicating transit time changes in SAP.
- Supporting/coordinating weekly/monthly/quarterly carrier meetings (MBR/QBR).
- Updating/sharing the monthly fuel surcharge for all modes of transport.
- Managing carrier performance/ scorecard/ KPI/ Compliance.
- Preparing weekly/ monthly transportation reports.
- Driving savings opportunities.
- Managing claims and RTS from the transportation side.
- Serving as the subject matter expert in regional or local projects.
- 5--8 years of strong hands-on knowledge of LTL/TL/Small parcel management.
- Excellent communication skills that translate data into actionable insights.
- Global mindset and ability to work across geographies and cultures.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills; builds effective relationships and influence across the organization.
- Decision maker eager to take/show initiative.
- Skilled in Excel and being able to run analyses through (power) pivots and the use of (more complex) formulas.
- Ability to make effective oral presentations and prepare concise written reports/presentations to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of in bond process.
- Experience with Ocean and Air transportation.
