What You Will Be Building
- Designing and implementing clean, scalable APIs that connect user interfaces to core backend services.
- Developing high quality web applications using Next.js, with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Balancing rapid product iteration with long term maintainability and sound engineering practices.
- Collaborating closely with product, design, and research partners to shape and deliver new functionality.
- Debugging and resolving issues across the stack, including frontend behavior, backend logic, and deployment workflows.
- Participating in code reviews and architectural discussions to help establish engineering standards and best practices.
- Contributing directly to early product development, helping move ideas from prototype to production.
- At least three years of professional experience in full stack or frontend focused engineering roles.
- A strong technical foundation, gained through formal education or equivalent hands on experience.
- Deep experience building applications with Next.js.
- Proficiency with modern frontend technologies, including React, TypeScript, and contemporary styling frameworks.
- Practical backend experience building APIs, working with databases, and diagnosing application level issues.
- An understanding of performance, scalability, and optimization in modern web applications.
- Experience working in startup environments or contributing to products built from the ground up.
- A self directed mindset, comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and learning quickly.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
