Role Overview
As a Quality Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting production by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on samples from brewing and packaging processes. Your work will ensure that quality standards are consistently met and that any issues are quickly identified and addressed.

What You’ll Do
Sample Collection & Processing
Collect samples from various stages of the production process and prepare them for microbiological, chemical, and sensory analysis following established protocols.
Laboratory Testing
Conduct analyses using standard lab techniques and equipment, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all testing procedures.
Aseptic Technique & Lab Practices
Apply proper sterile techniques and adhere to Good Laboratory Practices to maintain sample integrity and prevent contamination.
Equipment Operation
Operate and maintain a range of laboratory tools and systems, including incubators, microscopes, centrifuges, autoclaves, and other specialized equipment.
Data Entry & Reporting
Accurately record, analyze, and report results using multiple systems, ensuring timely communication of findings to support operational decisions.
Issue Identification & Escalation
Identify deviations, inconsistencies, or equipment issues and escalate them promptly to ensure rapid resolution and minimal production impact.
Cross-Team Communication
Collaborate with production, quality, and operations teams to ensure all testing requirements are completed efficiently and effectively.
Compliance & Safety
Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
What You Bring
Technical Knowledge
Basic understanding of microbiology, aseptic techniques, and laboratory safety practices.
Hands-On Experience
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and processes, ideally within food, beverage, or manufacturing environments.
Attention to Detail
Strong ability to accurately handle samples, record data, and follow procedures without deviation.
Communication Skills
Clear and effective communication with team members across different functions.
Organization & Time Management
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a production-driven environment.

Willingness to work flexible schedules, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and operating in varied production environments (including temperature and noise variations).
Work Schedule
This role operates on a rotating shift schedule designed to support continuous production. Team members work 12-hour shifts in a structured rotation that includes both daytime and overnight coverage, followed by scheduled days off.
Preferred Experience
Experience in food or beverage manufacturing, quality control, or laboratory environments.
Exposure to microbiological or analytical testing methods.
Familiarity with regulated production environments and quality systems.
