We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Head of Sales to lead Andes’ sales function. This role will be responsible for driving revenue and contracted revenue growth, building and managing key buyer relationships, and representing Andes externally at key industry events. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B sales within carbon markets or the broader sustainability space.
Location: Preference for candidates based in the Bay Area who can work on-site at our Alameda office, four days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute Andes’ sales strategy for both carbon offsets and insets, ensuring revenue and contracted revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to refine sales strategy, align commercial priorities with company objectives, and incorporate market insights into strategic planning
- Build and manage strong relationships with direct buyers (e.g., corporate sustainability leaders), brokers, and marketplaces
- Lead the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiating, closing, and post-sale engagement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technology and operations teams to align customer needs with company capabilities and strategic priorities
- Serve as a senior representative of Andes at key climate and sustainability events to elevate visibility and build high-impact buyer relationships
Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus
- Proven experience selling into climate-aligned corporates, sustainability functions, or enterprise procurement teams
- Understanding of the voluntary carbon market; prior experience in the CDR industry is a strong plus
- Comfort in managing various tasks simultaneously, ranging from the strategic to administrative
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills

Compensation and Benefits:

- Base salary range: $180,000–$225,000 per year, plus variable compensation based on performance
