Anderson Preparatory Academy’s Launch Pad is seeking a passionate and collaborative Lead Teacher to create a nurturing, child-centered classroom inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. We are looking for an educator who values creativity, exploration, strong relationships, and inquiry-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
• Lead and support assistant teachers through collaboration and mentorship
• Observe, assess, and document children’s growth and learning
• Use positive behavior guidance practices
• Maintain compliance with all licensing and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field preferred
• CDA accepted or willingness to obtain
• Experience in early childhood settings required
• Reggio Emilia-inspired experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet all state licensing requirements and background checks
