Job Overview
We are seeking a CDL Driver to join the Anderson Lumber team. In this role you will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles often including a straight truck, forklift, flatbed, or box truck. As well as pulling lumber or various tasks in the yard on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles.
- Follow traffic laws, transportation safety regulations, and emergency response procedures during all routes.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, incidents, and vehicle maintenance reports as required by company policy.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL, Class A or B.
- Ability to operate forklift.
- Understanding of handling and transporting materials.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, transportation safety regulations, and emergency response procedures for transportation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness.
- Customer service skills with a friendly attitude; ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.0 – 53.0 per week
