Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a maintenance crew and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will lead a team of skill maintenance technician, guiding them in various maintenance activities, lawn care, Spring and Fall Cleanup, trimming of shrubs and bushes, winter policing, winter watering, and snow removal. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance crew.
- Maintain a healthy landscape for some of the largest communities in our area.
- Ensure that all landscape maintenance tasks are performed effectively and safely.
- Train crew members on proper landscaping techniques and equipment usage.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage equipment and supplies for maintenance crew.
- Communicate with customers to understand their maintenance needs and provide profesional customer service.
Skills
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, garden upkeep, and tree care.
- Experience in groundskeeping with an eye for detail in maintaining outdoor spaces.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with team members and customers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise during projects.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must have clean driving record and ability to pull a trailer
- Prefer to be Bilingual
