Registration and Elections Clerk
DATE: February 11, 2026 CLOSING DATE: UNTIL FILLED
POSITION: Registration and Elections Clerk- Part Time
- Must be able to work 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Hours to be determined).
DEPARTMENT: Registration and Elections
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides support by performing a variety of clerical work to include but not limited to filing, data entry, reception type work. Assists in various activities of the Registration and Election Department at an entry level by providing support in voter registration, file management, assist in absentee, record keeping and election preparation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two (2) years of office experience or course study in computers/ office practices such as typing, filing, customer service and reception skills or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to complete State Election Commission training and certification program within eighteen (18) months of hire date. Following certification, must participate in at least one (1) course annually to maintain state certification.
