Mower Operator

POSITION: MOWER OPERATOR
DEPARTMENT: Roads and Bridges
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Operates and maintains heavy motor equipment and machinery and small trucks
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Operates & maintains heavy motor equipment 100 plus HP Tractors
- Ensures equipment is in working condition; services equipment as needed
- Prepares and records preventive maintenance on equipment
- Skill in Manual Shifter
- Light repairs on Tractors, Flails & Bushhogs
- Ability to run chainsaw & work on tree crew if necessary
- Must have a valid Class D Drivers License
- Tolerance of Heavy Traffic for roadside Mowing
- Ability to go call if needed
- Ability to boom trees back with boom tractor
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- One (1) to Three (3) years’ experience
