Project Manager

POSITION: PROJECT MANAGER
DEPARTMENT: ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of routine and complex administrative, technical, and professional work in the preparation and implementation of economic development plans, programs, and services.
Requirements:
- Considerable knowledge of business development; considerable knowledge of economic development; working knowledge of municipal zoning and infrastructure; working knowledge of planning programs and processes
- Skill in the operation of the listed tools and equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with industrialists, architects, contractors, developers, owners, supervisors, employees, and the general public; ability to establish effective working relationships
Required Licenses or Certifications:
- A valid SC Driver’s License, or ability to obtain one
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, business or public administration, economics, marketing, finance, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years’ experience
