Maintenance Technician - Residential Carpenter

Anderson Communities is seeking an experienced Maintenance Carpenter to join our growing Service Crew. You will deliver great resident experiences every day for the purpose of building better communities. This is a full-time position with a a great benefits package. 

Job duties: 

• Ensure reliable home functionality through preventative maintenance, repair and replacement of assets, equipment and buildings
  • Additional focus on Carpentry - Decks/Roofs/Windows/etc.
• Deliver great resident experiences
• The ideal candidate with have significant knowledge/experience with Carpentry
  • Highly desired experience includes:
    • Installing doors/repairing door frames
    • Repairing windows/siding
    • Repairing/replacing/installing decks (Including boards/stairs/handrails/etc)
• Must have reliable transportation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Trade School Certificate in related fields or College degree a plus
• Carpentry experience - STRONGLY DESIRED
• Extensive experience in customer service
• Troubleshooting and repair experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and/or residential appliances
• Must be drug free and maintain a clean appearance
• Must be felony free and have valid driver's license
• Must be OSHA knowledgeable
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
