The Equipment Manager is responsible for overseeing the tracking, maintenance, storage, and distribution of company equipment and fleet vehicles. This role ensures all tools, machinery, and vehicles are properly maintained, documented and available to support various projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both physical inventory and administrative tracking systems.RESPONSIBILITESOversee the tracking, organization and accountability of all company tools and job site equipment.Maintain accurate records of equipment check-outs, returns, assigned personnel and expected return dates.Oversee the management, tracking, and organization of all company equipment, tools, and machinery.Monitor equipment condition and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and servicing as needed.Manage fleet inventory records, including tracking vehicle assignments, service schedules, registrations and maintenance.Coordinate delivery and pickup of equipment with field crews to ensure timely job-site support.Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers for repairs, inspections, and other services not performed in house.Transport equipment using carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, liftgates, and other mechanical equipment. Average weight of equipment is between 30 and 120 lbs.Monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations as needed and make recommendations on vehicle and equipment replacement needs.Comply with all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.REQUIREMENTSSafety & Health Administration (OSHA) safety training preferred. Forklift certification preferred.Ability to frequently lift and move materials up to 120 lbs.Availability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.Outstanding organizational and communication skills.Previous warehouse, construction or flooring experience preferred.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordMust be able to pass a drug screening; subject to reasonable suspicion or for-cause testingAbility to meet company immunization requirements.The hours for this role are 5am-2pm PST with a one-hour lunch break. The role is in person in our Oakland Warehouse.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
