Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic located in Hayward, CA. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of heavy and industrial equipment. Daily tasks include diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues, conducting regular preventative maintenance, and ensuring all equipment is in safe and efficient working condition. The mechanic will collaborate with team members to provide timely and quality equipment service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance
- Skilled in Equipment Repair and servicing Heavy Equipment
- Strong Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards
- Experience in working with industrial and heavy-duty cleaning equipment is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Possession of relevant certifications or trade qualifications in mechanics is an asset
