Position Summary
Anderson Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. The RN is responsible for performing at a competent level of nursing and consistently demonstrating the nursing process. This includes coordination of care, teaching and health promotion and evaluation. The RN is also responsible for holding the highest standards of professional performance, which include ethics, cultural diversity, communication, collaboration, and evidenced-based practice. The RN must possess clinical knowledge and skills that meet regulatory standards and align with the agency policy, mission, and values.
About This Job
Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and implement patient care based on assessments to optimize outcomes.
- Provides functional direction and assistance to LPNs and other direct care employees.
- Communicate with physician and nursing unit staff to exchange necessary information.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care.
- Utilizes job and unit specific equipment as required.
Shifts:
- Days & Nights
EDUCATION:
- Valid RN license is required.
- Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of youth and adolescents
- Registered Nurse License
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
