Warehouse Lead

Position Summary.

The Warehouse Lead supports the day-to-day operations of the warehouse for Anderson Air's new construction division, ensuring materials, equipment, and tools are properly received, organized, staged, and distributed to support installation teams and projects. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and installation teams, this role maintains accurate inventory, ensures job readiness, and keeps warehouse operations running efficiently. The Warehouse Lead is an informal lead within the warehouse — without direct reports — who helps maintain organization, accountability, and efficiency across daily warehouse functions.

Responsibilities.

Material Staging & Job Readiness

• Stage materials and equipment for upcoming installation jobs to ensure crews have everything required prior to departure.
• Verify job materials against work orders or job requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with maintaining staging areas and job readiness for upcoming projects.
• Support installation teams and field staff by ensuring timely material availability and job readiness.

Receiving, Inventory & Returns

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition before storing in the warehouse.
• Process material returns from jobs and ensure items are properly restocked or documented.
• Maintain accurate physical inventory within the warehouse and report discrepancies when identified.

Deliveries & Fleet Coordination

• Coordinate delivery of materials to job sites and ensure materials arrive on schedule, driving and delivering personally as needed.
• Load and unload materials for installation teams and assist with job site material preparation.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance needs by monitoring vehicle condition and communicating service requirements.

Warehouse Organization & Safety

• Maintain warehouse organization to ensure materials, tools, and equipment are stored safely and efficiently.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and safe working condition.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and OSHA safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, workflow, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Forklift certification, or ability to obtain.
• 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, construction supply, or a similar field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting field operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• OSHA 10 certification.

Work Environment.

This role is warehouse-based, with regular local travel to job sites to deliver materials and support installation teams. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and be comfortable with standard warehouse physical demands, including extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and operating a forklift. Site visits may require entering active construction environments and non-climate-controlled spaces.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
