Responsibilities
- Conduct wildlife inspections on properties to identify signs of animal activity and entry points
- Safely trap, remove, and relocate nuisance animals using humane methods and appropriate equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to assist with habitat modification and exclusion techniques
- Maintain detailed records of wildlife sightings, removal activities, and property assessments
- Educate clients on wildlife prevention strategies and habitat management practices
- Operate vehicles safely to reach various job sites across different terrains
- Assist with landscaping or land management tasks that support wildlife exclusion efforts when needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable. However, no experience is required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and land management equipment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe vehicle operation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills for wildlife activity detection
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Willingness to learn about local wildlife species and humane removal techniques
- Ability to work on and with various ladder sizes, up to and including 40 feet
- Ability to lift 60 pounds
- Physical ability to fit through attic access panels, crawl, bend and climb
