The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with financial records, preparing reports, audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Data entry for records integrity
- Daily and Weekly Financial Reports
- Month-end journal entries
- Month-end reporting
- Quarterly sales and use tax return
- Yearly personal property taxes
- Agency audits
- Ad Hoc Financial Reports
- Comfortable using accounting software, Excel and other industry-specific programs
- Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Understanding Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
- Clear understanding of Debits and Credits
- Proven ability to act as a role model for the organization reflecting professionalism, positivity, and team orientation
- Proven Service-minded approach to delivering Accounting services
- Must pass the pre-employment screening required of this position
