Looking for a part-time CMA position with a predictable schedule and a team that values what you bring to the table? Anchorage Women’s Clinic is looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our team!
For more than 30 years, Anchorage Women’s Clinic (AWC) has been providing exceptional OB/GYN care to women throughout the greater Anchorage area. We’re a busy, collaborative practice that takes pride in delivering excellent patient care—and creating a workplace where our team members can do their best work.
⭐ The Opportunity
This is a part-time position with a consistent 3-day schedule at our Eagle River clinic:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
7:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Your initial training will take place at our Anchorage clinic, where you’ll work alongside experienced senior CMAs. Training is typically completed within 30 days, after which your regular schedule will be exclusively at our Eagle River location.
What You’ll Do
As a CMA at AWC, you’ll play an important role in creating an excellent experience for every patient. You’ll:
- Provide compassionate, professional patient care
- Support physicians and advanced practice providers with clinical care
- Communicate with patients in person and by phone
- Complete accurate and timely EMR/EHR documentation
- Help keep the clinical workflow running smoothly
- Work closely with a team that genuinely cares about our patients and one another
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys being part of a team.
Required:
- At least 2 years of CMA experience in a private practice
- National CMA certification
- EMR/EHR experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Women’s health or OB/GYN experience is a definite plus!
