Floating Facility Assistant (Part-Time in Wasilla & Eagle River)

Position Overview

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and takes pride in doing things the right way. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their week, can work independently, and is willing to step in wherever the team needs support. No two days are exactly the same—and that’s part of what makes it a good role for the right person.

Schedule

This position provides consistent weekly coverage across our locations:

• ~2.5 days per week (about 20 hours)
• Typical schedule:
• Thursday 9am-5pm (Wasilla Eagle Eye Offices– location varies)
• Friday 9am-5pm (Eagle River – 10880 Mausel St)
• Rotating Saturdays (10am–2pm)

Schedule can be adjusted as needed to cover these same 2.5 days for the right candidate.

Additional hours—and occasional full-time weeks—are available to help cover PTO and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and online
• Recommend storage solutions based on customer needs
• Process rentals, payments, and account updates
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility
• Monitor property activity and uphold security standards
• Support multiple locations and fill in as needed

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working independently across locations
• Ability to adapt and problem-solve in real time
• Ability to work full-time when needed is strongly preferred
• Reliable transportation required

Schedule Requirement

This position requires availability during the scheduled days listed above. Flexibility to pick up additional shifts is a strong plus.

Pay & Growth (Starting Pay)

$21-$23/hour, with quarterly profit sharing bonuses and room to grow (in responsibilities & pay)
