Anchor Talent is recruiting an experienced Production Manager to lead the startup and operational launch of a new greenfield manufacturing facility in the Dallas area. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a world-class production operation from the ground up, establishing processes, commissioning equipment, and scaling a team to full capacity.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead production startup activities: equipment commissioning, process validation, trial runs, and ramp-up to full capacity
- Develop SOPs, work instructions, safety protocols, and quality control processes for the new facility
- Establish production schedules, capacity plans, and operational KPIs
- Manage daily production operations to meet customer demand, quality standards, and delivery commitments
- Hire, train, and develop production team including supervisors, leads, technicians, and operators
- Drive accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence on the floor
- Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, and resource allocation
- Oversee heavily automated production lines with industrial robotics, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Partner with automation engineers to ensure robotic systems run at peak efficiency
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize OEE
- Identify opportunities for further automation and process improvement
- Implement lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, VSM) to eliminate waste
- Monitor and improve key metrics: cycle time, throughput, scrap rates, first-pass yield, and on-time delivery
- Establish strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for production, quality, and safety issues
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations (or equivalent experience)
- 10 years in advanced manufacturing or component manufacturing in production leadership roles
- Proven greenfield/brownfield facility startup experience with process development and team building
- Extensive experience in highly automated, robotics-intensive manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production metrics
- Robotics programming knowledge (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA) and automation troubleshooting
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
