What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRPA / CRPA-P Peer Advocate | Per Diem position at Anchor Health Home Care?
We are hiring CRPAs and CRPA-Ps to provide peer support to individuals receiving services throughout New York City.
This is a flexible, per diem opportunity where you can choose cases based on your location, availability, and preferred travel area. Cases are offered as they become available, and you decide which ones fit your schedule.
For CRPA-Ps working toward full CRPA certification, eligible hours worked may count toward the 500-hour experience requirement for a CRPA upgrade.
What You'll Do
- Provide one-on-one peer support to individuals receiving services
- Build supportive and professional relationships with clients
- Use your lived experience and peer-support training to encourage recovery and personal goals
- Communicate professionally with clients and the care team
- Travel to the cases you choose to accept throughout NYC
Requirements
- Current CRPA or CRPA-P certification
- Reliable and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Ability to travel to accepted cases
