Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Powder Coater for our overnight shift, you will be responsible for various tasks related to Powder Coating operation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities: Physical Requirements With or Without Accommodation
- Oversee and perform powder coating activities while ensuring high quality and adherence to production standards.
- Operate powder coat guns, ensure proper maintenance and handling.
- Prepare parts for coating, including masking plugging, or washing.
-Inspect coated items for defects, touching up defeats as necessary.
-Control and adjust the application process to correct inconsistencies or poor coverage.
-Maintain safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
-Maintain equipment in good working order by following manufactures instructions and established procedures, troubleshooting malfunctions, and scheduling repairs.
-Monitor the quality of the product and the efficiency of the coating process to maximize product.
-Work collaboratively with other team members to meet stringent deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience powder coating is required
- Proficiency in powder coating techniques and processes
- Familiarity with hand tools, power coating guns and other relevant equipment
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
