Job Title: Urgent Care Registered Nurse - General Practice
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a fast-paced Urgent Care clinic specializing in General Practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support our healthcare providers in delivering efficient and effective medical services.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and triage patients upon arrival to determine urgency of medical needs.
2. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers.
3. Perform diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
4. Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care.
5. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
6. Maintain accurate and complete medical records in accordance with regulations.
7. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. CPR certification required.
3. Previous experience in Urgent Care or General Practice setting preferred.
4. Strong communication and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
7. Bilingual skills (Spanish or other language) a plus.
