Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel RN. As an Operating Room RN, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during operations, ensuring that the operating room is sterile, and providing care to patients before, during, and after surgery. This position requires flexibility, critical thinking skills, and the ability to adapt to new environments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist surgeons during operations
- Maintain a sterile operating room environment
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
- Administer medications and anesthesia as needed
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and work in various healthcare settings
