Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse RN Critical Care (CCU) In Aberdeen, WA
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced RN to join our team in the critical care unit. The registered nurse will be responsible for managing and providing care for critically ill patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to provide the best possible care for patients in the CCU
- Monitor and assess each patient's condition and implement appropriate interventions as necessary
- Administer medications and other treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Utilize the latest medical technologies and equipment to ensure patient safety and optimum outcomes
- Educate patients and family members on their condition, treatments, and recovery process
- Document patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and policies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have a valid RN license in the state of Washington
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Proficient in electronic medical documentation and computer skills
