Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room / Circulate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join our team as an Operating Room/Circulate Nurse. In this role, you will work in various healthcare facilities across the country, providing compassionate care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include circulating in the operating room, assisting surgeons, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgery.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare operating room for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration
- Provide post-operative care and monitor patients' recovery
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room/circulate nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel and work in various healthcare settings
