Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Adult
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Adult to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while working with a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the med surg adult unit
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
3. Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the shift
4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
5. Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatment plans
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
8. Assist with patient discharge planning as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS and ACLS certification
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a med surg adult unit
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
7. Flexibility to travel to different locations as needed
8. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred
